The future of the city lies in its existing built environment. With this premise in mind, the Department of Urban Planning and Design at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg explored a central theme of urban transformation: ground floors as an urban resource.
From November 20 to 21, 2025, as part of the department’s research, an international symposium with an accompanying exhibition took place at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg to explore the (re)use and redesign of ground floors.
We are pleased to have been part of the exhibition alongside the Bildungshaus Norderstedt.
